About these numbers
Weather comes from Open-Meteo, which combines forecasts from national weather services for the place's coordinates. Rain amounts beyond today are forecasts, so they are shown with the chance of rain.
Air quality comes from the European Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) via Open-Meteo. It is a model of the air over an area about 10 to 40 km wide, not a reading from a monitoring station, so it shows the general air of a town rather than one street. The Indian AQI is worked out here from those numbers with CPCB's method (24-hour averages; 8-hour for CO and ozone), so it is an estimate; official readings come from CPCB stations. Nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) is shown rather than nitric oxide (NO), because NO₂ is the one used for the AQI.
Tides come from the Open-Meteo marine model: the height of the sea above mean sea level, hour by hour, for the open sea nearest the place. High and low tide are its highest and lowest points. Harbours, river mouths and backwaters can turn earlier or later than the open sea, so use official port tide tables for fishing, boating or anything where safety matters.
AQI categories (India): 0–50 Good · 51–100 Satisfactory · 101–200 Moderate · 201–300 Poor · 301–400 Very poor · 401–500 Severe. Outside India the US index is shown, and the European index in Europe.
